In concise and clear language, professor of systematic theology Sinclair B. Ferguson unpacks the doctrine of repentance in this convicting and easy read. A great book to take you deeper into the theology of repentance.

This article unpacks repentance beautifully in the context of Lent, focusing on it as the beginning of healing and transformation in our relationship with God.[/text-with-icon][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”60″][vc_text_separator title=”Recommended Video” title_align=”separator_align_center”][text-with-icon icon_type=”font_icon” icon=”icon-youtube” color=”Accent-Color”]

Check out this wonderful short video by one of my favorite counselors – Dr. Dan Allender is a prominent Christian therapist, author, professor, and speaker focusing on sexual abuse and trauma recovery. In this short video his wealth of wisdom pours through  as he unpacks what true repentance looks like.[/text-with-icon][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”60″][vc_text_separator title=”Recommended Music” title_align=”separator_align_center”][text-with-icon icon_type=”font_icon” icon=”icon-music” color=”Accent-Color”]

Finally I have to recommend one of my favorite songs by Jon Foreman, entitled “White As Snow.” He took the beauty of Psalm 51 and put it to beautiful music, it is a gorgeous soundtrack of repentance – something I listen to regularly with the prayer “wash me white as snow” on my heart.[/text-with-icon][/vc_column][/vc_row]
